About Us
Hello and welcome to Inkredible Birthing! We are a small but growing business dedicated to helping new families journey through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and feeding.
Kate is a Registered Nurse with nine years of experience, specializing in all areas of Obstetrics, having worked in antepartum, labour and delivery, postpartum and NICU. She has worked in high-risk, high-volume hospitals as well as rural and remote areas of Canada.
Kate holds a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, two post-degree certificates in Breastfeeding and High-Risk Obstetrics, is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a Basic Life Support Instructor through the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada and holds a Perinatal Educator Certificate through Doula Training Canada. She is currently working on her Postpartum Doula Training Certificate.
Kate loves to travel, enjoys all kinds of animals, spending as much time as she can wrangle with her ten nieces and nephews and overwhelming her co-workers with new knowledge and teaching. She is passionate about obstetrics and ensuring that her patients and clients have the best, most up-to-date, information and knowledge.
